About Our Awareness Campaign
Finally, Institute of Cyber Security has started Cyber Security Awareness Campaign throughout Pakistan. The main focus of this campaign is to Aware normal Internet Users about cyber threats. Almost no one in Pakistan gives importance to Cyber Security. As a result, every day hundreds of Females became the victim of cyber harassment and Blackmailing.This is all due to lack of proper awareness in Internet users. While on the other hand only a few of these cases get reported to NR3-FIA.
Most probably threat can not be stopped, but it can be minimized up to 90% through proper awareness. We believe if we carry proper awareness at Gross root level i.e Universities and Collages level. It will have long-lasting effects on society. Because the same well aware students will aware their family and Friends about cyber threats. In addition, these well aware students will work in different organizations after graduation. So properly well aware students will dodge different types of cyber attacks at their organization and infrastructure in the future.
Most Noteworthy Point, Core focus of our cyber Security awareness is to aware female users so they can protect their privacy. In many Privacy breach Cases, Females Internet users commit suicide. Mostly they take such actions because they can not handle privacy breach results and don't want to insult their families. Institute of Cyber Security will aware them with live examples of hacking attacks in the lab environment which they can face online.
