Organization Background
Institute of Cyber Security was founded in December 2016 by Chaudhry Mansab Ali one of famous Pakistani Hacker and Umer Masood Faruki ex Advisor to prime Minister of Pakistan. We believes in the world of today, nothing is considered 100% secure. Governments, military, and corporations amass a great deal of confidential information about their employees, customers, products, research and financial status. Most of this information is now collected, processed and stored on computers and transmitted across networks to other computers. Many companies and organizations ignore an important aspect in their infrastructures i.e. electronic security. They place security guards at their office doors to make them secure but often they ignore to secure their company assets such as websites, networks, etc.
We believe the fact that nothing can be 100% secure but we also believe that risk can be minimized with proper arrangements and awareness. Cyber Security breaches can result in direct of either foreign spying, financial losses, threaten organizations’ reputations or information leak, erode customer loyalties, and attract negative press. A recent edition of the "CSI/FBI Computer Crime and Security Survey" estimated the average annual cost of security breaches to companies at $350,424 per organization. This is more than doubled over the last two years. The cost of a single serious breach can be significantly higher. The same CSI/FBI survey estimated the cost of a single data breach for a based company at $203,000 per incident.
